Itinerary

Pick-up from your address in Luxor and transfer to Esna to board your elegant dahabiya. Begin with a visit to Esna Temple, dedicated to the ram-headed god Khnum, before wandering through the colorful local market. 

Set sail toward El Kab, once the ancient city of Nekheb, to see the remains of its temples and the Old Kingdom rock-cut tombs carved into the cliffs. Continue to a small Nile island where the dahabiya will moor for the night. Dinner is served onboard or by the riverbank

Overnight: Onboard Dahabiye

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Sail to Edfu, passing ever-changing scenery from golden desert to lush palm groves. Visit the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved monuments in Egypt, renowned for its towering pylons and detailed reliefs. 

Continue to Wadi el Shat for a gentle walk through rural villages and farmland, meeting locals and experiencing authentic riverside life. Moor at a quiet island for dinner under the stars.
