After settling into your elegantly appointed cabin, step ashore with your Egyptologist to visit the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, set on a picturesque island surrounded by the Nile’s blue waters.

Continue to the modern marvel of the Aswan High Dam, offering sweeping views across Lake Nasser. Return to your cruise in the evening, where you can enjoy a freshly prepared dinner in the main dining room before relaxing on the sun deck, watching the golden glow of sunset dance across the river.

Optional experiences such as a felucca sail or a visit to a traditional Nubian village are available for those wishing to delve deeper into local culture.

Overnight in Aswan.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast as your cruise begins its journey north along the Nile. Late in the morning, you will arrive at Kom Ombo, where the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god, stands majestically on the riverbank. Your guide will share the temple’s fascinating history, including its significance to ancient medicine.

Visit the adjacent Crocodile Museum to see mummified crocodiles and rare artifacts before returning to the ship. As you sail onward, a delicious lunch is served, and the ever-changing Nile scenery unfolds before you—fields of sugarcane, children waving from the banks, and fishermen casting their nets.

In the afternoon, arrive at Edfu and travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, with soaring columns and intricate reliefs. After your visit, return to the cruise for afternoon tea, dinner, and evening entertainment as you continue toward Esna.
