Overnight stay in Cairo

After breakfast, meet your professional Egyptologist guide at your hotel for an inspiring full-day exploration of Giza’s most iconic treasures.

Begin at the legendary Giza Plateau, home to the awe-inspiring Great Pyramid of Khufu — the last remaining Wonder of the Ancient World. Stand in the shadow of the Pyramid of Khafre and the smaller yet elegant Pyramid of Menkaure, each with its own fascinating history. Walk down to marvel at the Great Sphinx, a monumental guardian with the body of a lion and the face of a pharaoh, watching over the plateau for over 4,500 years. Continue to the Valley Temple, where ancient rituals of mummification once took place.

Savor a delicious lunch at a well-known local restaurant before heading to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) — an architectural masterpiece and one of the largest museums in the world. Step into a captivating journey through Egypt’s history as you explore thousands of artifacts, from colossal statues of pharaohs to intricate jewelry, tools, and royal treasures. Admire relics spanning the Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms, displayed in immersive galleries that tell the story of one of the greatest civilizations on Earth.

After a day steeped in history, return to your hotel in Cairo.

Overnight in Cairo

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before transferring to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, our representative will greet you and escort you to begin exploring this picturesque city on the Nile’s southern edge.

Start at the Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering marvel that tamed the Nile’s seasonal flooding and brought irrigation and electricity to millions.

Next, take a short boat ride to Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. This breathtaking complex, relocated to Agilkia Island to save it from flooding, is adorned with beautiful reliefs and carvings depicting ancient myths.

After the tour, board your comfortable Nile cruise ship. Settle into your cabin and enjoy lunch on board as the cruise begins its journey toward Kom Ombo. Spend the afternoon relaxing on deck, watching the golden light shimmer on the Nile’s calm waters, and later enjoy onboard entertainment under the stars.

Overnight on the Nile Cruise

After breakfast on board, disembark to explore Kom Ombo Temple, uniquely dedicated to two gods — Sobek, the crocodile deity, and Horus, the falcon god. This symmetrical design is rare in ancient Egyptian architecture, and its carvings offer fascinating insights into medicine, religion, and daily life.

Return to the cruise for lunch as you sail toward Edfu. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples. Walk through its massive pylons and admire the intricate reliefs that narrate stories of divine battles and ancient rituals.

In the evening, join the lively Galabeya Party on board — don traditional Egyptian attire, enjoy local music, and dance as your cruise sails deeper into the heart of the Nile.

Overnight on the Nile Cruise

Wake up in Luxor and enjoy breakfast on board before heading to the West Bank of the Nile — the gateway to Egypt’s royal past.

First, visit the Valley of the Kings, the eternal resting place of pharaohs from the New Kingdom. Step inside the tombs, where walls are covered with colorful hieroglyphs and intricate scenes depicting the pharaoh’s journey to the afterlife.

Continue to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a stunning monument built for Egypt’s most successful female ruler, with terraces rising dramatically from the desert cliffs.

End your tour with a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues that have stood watch for over 3,000 years. Return to the cruise for lunch and an evening at leisure as the Nile flows gently past.

Overnight on the Nile Cruise

After breakfast, visit Karnak Temple, a vast complex of sanctuaries, pylons, and obelisks dedicated to Amun-Ra. Walk through the magnificent Hypostyle Hall, where 134 massive columns soar above, their carved lotus and papyrus capitals still bearing traces of original paint.

Next, explore Luxor Temple, an elegant riverside monument famous for its grand statues of Ramses II and the illuminated Avenue of Sphinxes that once connected it to Karnak.

In the afternoon, transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, you’ll be driven to your hotel for an evening at leisure.

Optional: Start the day with an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over Luxor at dawn, offering panoramic views of the Nile Valley and its ancient temples.

Overnight in Cairo

After an early breakfast, set out on a scenic drive to Alexandria, a city where Egyptian, Greek, and Roman cultures blend seamlessly.

Begin at the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an underground wonder dating back to the 2nd century AD. Descend into spiraling chambers adorned with carvings that merge Egyptian motifs with Greco-Roman artistry.

Continue to Pompey’s Pillar, a 25-meter-high Roman triumphal column, and explore the nearby ruins of the Serapeum Temple, once dedicated to the god Serapis.

After lunch at a reputable seafood restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean, visit the Qaitbay Citadel, a 15th-century fortress built on the very site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria — one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Conclude with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a striking modern library and cultural complex housing millions of books, exhibitions, and rare manuscripts, paying homage to the city’s ancient legacy of learning.
