After a delicious breakfast at your accommodation, our tour manager will escort you to Cairo Airport for a short flight to the ancient city of Luxor. Upon arrival, your tour manager will be waiting to transfer you to begin your private tour with World Travel Path representative.
Your journey starts at the Valley of the Kings, the legendary burial ground of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs. Carved deep into the mountainside, these tombs hold extraordinary treasures and stories that span centuries, making it one of Egypt’s most significant archaeological sites.
Next, you’ll visit the breathtaking Temple of Hatshepsut, a magnificent limestone structure nestled on terraces that seamlessly blend into the surrounding cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Built to honor Egypt’s only female pharaoh, this temple is an architectural marvel full of history and beauty.
Not far from here stand the Colossi of Memnon—two towering statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These impressive stone guardians, made from quartzite sandstone, depict the king seated on his throne, adorned with intricate carvings of his family and symbols of power.
After a morning of exploration, it’s time to relax and recharge with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. You’ll enjoy traditional Egyptian dishes featuring savory meats, fragrant rice, and fresh salads. (Drinks are not included.)
The afternoon is dedicated to the magnificent temples of Luxor. Begin with Karnak Temple, the world’s largest open-air museum, where thousands of years of history are preserved within towering columns, statues, and sacred lakes. As your day draws to a close, your tour manager will transfer you to Luxor Airport for your return flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed and driven back to your accommodation in a private air-conditioned vehicle, completing a day filled with unforgettable discoveries.
